20 Years with ContiTech

Since 2004, the field of drive and conveyor belts has undergone significant changes. Many manufacturers have disappeared, while others have become part of large multinational corporations. Meanwhile, our main supplier, Continental, has expanded its global reach through the acquisition of significant brands. In 2006, it acquired the high-quality belt manufacturer Roulunds, and in 2018, it even acquired the American giant, Goodyear. This significantly altered the company's global operations, and entirely new products were added to Continental’s portfolio, which we had not previously offered.

Thanks to the gradual expansion and enhancement of the product line, as well as new innovative products, we are now able to offer a practically complete portfolio of drive and conveyor belts made from rubber and plastics directly from Continental ContiTech.

During the mentioned 20 years, unique products have been added that push the boundaries of technology. Let’s name a few:

• CONTI SYNCHROCHAIN CARBON

  Polyurethane timing belts with carbon tension member for transmitting the highest power, torques, and high dynamic loads. They are an optimal alternative to chain drives.

• CONTI SYNCHROFORCE CARBON

  Rubber timing belts with carbon tension member for high forces, acceleration, and shock loads.

• CONTI VX ADVANCE (formerly CONTI-V FO PIONEER)

  EPDM V-belts for continuous and reliable transmission of the highest power and speeds, with temperature resistance up to 130°C.

• CONTI SYNCHRODRIVE 14M and 20M HS or XHP

  Polyurethane open-ended timing belts for high tensile strength, with excellent dimensional stability and mechanical durability.

• CONTI SILENTSYNC

  Self-tracking timing belts with helical teeth for very quiet drives with extremely low vibration.

• CONTI SYNCHROMOTION

  Endless timing or conveyor belts made of plastic for reliable power transmission even in the most demanding environments.

• CONTI POLYFLAT XHS and CONTI POLYROPE

  Flat belts and ropes for the heaviest lifting applications, with CONTI POLYROPE additionally certified for passenger elevators according to EN 81-20/50.

All these products were not available 20 years ago, and today they enable manufacturers to push the limits of their machines and implement completely innovative technical solutions that were not possible before.

Continental Is Not Just About Tires

Almost everyone knows or has heard of the German company Continental. The yellow-black Continental logo can be seen on tires, the soles of sports shoes, in cycling races, and even this year on the helmets of players at the Ice Hockey World Championship in Prague. Continental has long been about more than just tires.

In addition to tire manufacturing, the company produces technical products made from rubber and plastics that influence both the automotive and industrial sectors. ContiTech Power Transmission Group

The ContiTech Power Transmission Group division (drive systems) develops and manufactures drive belts as components of belt drive systems for cars, machinery, and industrial applications.

This division collaborates with original equipment manufacturers and service providers worldwide. It offers innovative drive systems with V-belts, multi-ribbed belts, timing belts, and flat belts.
