Consent Methodology

To enable user-friendly settings for analytics and advertising services, we base our consent framework on Google's methodology. The consents offered are categorized as follows:

Technical Cookies

The web doesn't work properly without them. Therefore, they cannot be turned off in the settings.

We use them, for example, for the function of the cart, switching the currency of the eshop or the administration of these consents.

Statistical Cookies

They help us with web development and debugging.

These include cookies from Google and Microsoft analytics tools. Granting this consent won't directly affect you, but it allows us to gather more accurate data about your visits and interactions, helping us identify errors and improve the site. Through Mailchimp, these data also help us track the effectiveness of system emails and newsletters.

Marketing Cookies

They improve the relevance of advertising.

Cookies from advertising systems by Google and Microsoft. Granting this consent allows us and these advertising systems to store some information about your interactions to display more relevant ads. This also helps us understand how our ads perform. Your decision won't affect whether ads are shown to you, but rather how closely they match your interests.

Personalization and Data Association

For more precisely targeted advertising.

Granting this consent allows us and advertising systems by Google and Microsoft to use more accurate information about your interactions with the website, even across different devices. This will improve both the relevance of the ads shown to you and prevent irrelevant ads. This consent also allows for data from other Google and Microsoft tools and services to be integrated for more targeted advertising (always within the respective advertising network).

Personal Data

For more accurate identification by analytics and marketing tools.

Granting this consent allows us to use your personal data (email, phone, name, and address) for further identification during web visits. These personal data will be hashed and anonymized before being shared with Google and Microsoft for precise analytics and better ad personalization. Ads will still be shown without this consent but may be less tailored to your interests.

Analytics Tools and Services on TYMA CZ Website. Functions and Settings Options

You can control how analytics tools process your visits and interactions through the consent for Statistical Cookies. Consent for Personalization and Data Association allows for more detailed measurement and association of your interactions across devices. Consent for Personal Data provides the most accurate measurement, still anonymized. Personal data will only be used as an anonymized user identifier.

We use the following analytics tools:


Google Analytics

We use (may use) this tool on all pages of the site to evaluate traffic, user interactions with the site and its elements, to identify errors, to monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and other sources of traffic.

If you don't consent to Statistical Cookies, these cookies won't be stored, and measurement will be limited to pings with only anonymized hits stored by Google. If you don't consent to using personal data (Personal Data consent), data is collected without user identification. Otherwise, emails, phone numbers, names, and addresses used on the site may be hashed (converted into checksums by a one-way encryption mechanism), stored in cookies, and shared with Google. Other data (country, region, city, postal code) may be shared unaltered.

We have enabled the Google Signals feature allowing cross-device tracking of users logged into their Google accounts. Its use is subject to the Personalization and Data Association consent, and sub-functions are additionally subject to the consent of Statistical Cookies and Marketing Cookies.

We use the Granular Location and Device Data Collection feature. This will record information about your geographical location and provide us with detailed information about your device, operating system and browser. Its use is subject to the Personal Data consent.

Google Analytics data is linked with Google Ads advertising tool data, conditional on Personalization and Data Association consent.

We link Google Analytics data with reports in the Mailchimp mailer to evaluate the efficiency of newsletter campaigns.

We share Google Analytics data with the Microsoft Clarity analytics tool for a more accurate evaluation of user interactions with the website.

The retention period of Google Analytics user cookies can be up to 2 years. Event and user data is retained for 14 months from the last user interaction. Google Signals feature data retention is 26 months.

Microsoft Clarity

We use (may use) this tool on all pages of the website to evaluate user interactions with the website and its elements, to identify errors and to improve the website from a UX perspective (tuning the user experience). The tool offers visual heatmaps and video recordings of individual visits.

We only use this tool when users have provided prior consent for Statistical Cookies, Marketing Cookies, Personalization and Data Association, and Personal Data. To ensure user privacy, the tool is configured to mask the content entered in form fields, preventing any personal data from being observed. This masked data is not sent to Microsoft servers.

We provide addresses with links to video recordings of specific user visits to Google Analytics. We can thus, for example, see the useful context of a measured error event.

The retention period of Microsoft Clarity user cookies can be up to 2 years.

Mailchimp

We use (may use) this tool for sending newsletters. For sending transactional emails, we use the Mailchimp Transactional Email (formerly Mandrill) service. For sent emails, we track and evaluate delivery and user interactions such as opens and clicks on specific links.

In the case of newsletter campaigns, we usually work with aggregated values, but the data also offers a detailed overview of the interactions of specific users. In the case of transactional emails, we track the interactions of specific users with specific emails to ensure smooth customer communication. This tracking is outside the TYMA CZ website and therefore outside the area affected by consent management.

Consent to the analytics options described above is a condition of registering for the TYMA newsletter or submitting data via forms on the TYMA CZ website.

We provide Google Analytics with parameters for tracking the traffic received, its engagement and efficiency. However, for individual user tracking.

Advertising Tools and Services on TYMA CZ Website. Functions and Settings Options

Your decision on Marketing Cookies will determine if and how advertising tools process your visits and interactions. If you agree to the Personalization and Data Association consent, you will allow us to measure and link your interactions with the website more accurately and in more detail across different devices, and to extend the evaluated interactions to include other services and tools in individual advertising networks, even for advanced retargeting. If you agree to the Personal Data consent, the measurement will be the most accurate and detailed, yet still anonymous. We will only use personal data as a user identifier in an anonymized form. Your decision on these consents will not affect whether or not you see ads, but whether or how relevant they are to your interests. With more consents, we will be more precise about what we offer you, but also about which ads we will not show you.

We use (may use) this tool for various types of advertising campaigns across the entire Google advertising network, including retargeting. The Google advertising network includes, for example, ads in Google search results, text and banner ads in the content of partner websites, ads in Google Shopping, Google Maps, Google Play, Gmail, YouTube, and others.

The tracking of basic interactions on the web in the context of advertising on the Google advertising network by storing advertising cookies on the respective device is subject to prior consent being obtained, marked as Marketing Cookies. To refine measurement, in the case of granting Personal Data consent, your email addresses, phone numbers, first and last name or address (street and number) used in your interaction with the website may be hashed (converted into checksums by a one-way encryption mechanism), stored in the form of a cookie and transmitted to Google for further anonymised identification. Other data (country, region, city and postcode) may be shared with Google unaltered (without hashing).

The tool is linked to the Google Analytics analytics tool. The use of Google Analytics data for advertising in the Google advertising network is subject to consent marked as Personalization and Data Association. If this consent is obtained, the advertising system will also work with data from the Google Signals feature allowing cross-device tracking of users logged into their Google accounts, and the Granular Location and Device Data Collection feature, which is additionally subject to the Personal Data consent.

Retargeting advertising in the Google advertising network assumes the creation of audiences based on relevant user interactions and other criteria. It is therefore subject to the following: Marketing Cookies consent will enable basic retargeting with regard to interactions directly on the website, Personalization and Data Association consent will offer retargeting campaigns more advanced, expanding and refining mechanisms based on the evaluation of interactions with connected services within the Google advertising network and the above-described Google Analytics data, including Google Signals feature data.

Within Google Ads, we also use the Google Shopping service. We use this search engine and price comparison platform from both parts of it: for free displays of our products in search results according to the degree of match with the search (Free Listings) and for paid advertising there (ads in Google Shopping product search results). Personalization and Data Association consent will allow the inclusion of interactions with both free and paid product search results in the set of knowledge about the user for ad targeting and their linking with detailed data about the website visit and other interactions in the Google advertising network.

Google Ads audience cookies are deleted after processing and verification. Event and user data is retained for 14 months from the last user interaction. Google Signals feature data retention is 26 months.

Microsoft Advertising

We use (may use) this tool for various types of advertising campaigns across the entire Microsoft advertising network, including retargeting. The Microsoft advertising network includes, for example, ads in Bing search results, text and banner ads in the content of partner websites, ads in Bing Shopping, Outlook, MSN, Skype, and others. Through Microsoft's partnership with other companies (e.g. Netflix, Ecosia, DuckDuckGo and Yahoo), other services and platforms can also be used for advertising.

Tracking basic interactions on the website in the context of advertising in the Microsoft advertising network by storing advertising cookies on the relevant device requires prior Marketing Cookies consent. To refine measurement, in the case of granting Personal Data consent, your email addresses or phone numbers used when interacting with the website may be hashed (converted into checksums by a one-way encryption mechanism), stored in cookie and transmitted to Microsoft for your further anonymized identification.

The tool is tightly integrated with the Microsoft Clarity analytics tool. Therefore, its use is also subject to the above-mentioned Statistical Cookies consent. The use of Microsoft Clarity data for advertising in the Microsoft advertising network is subject to Personalization and Data Association consent. We have enabled the UET Insights service, which provides a more detailed view of the user and their interactions, also by storing cookies with an anonymised identifier on the user's device, and which therefore requires prior Marketing Cookies and Personal Data consents.

Retargeting in the Microsoft advertising network assumes the creation of audiences based on relevant user interactions and other criteria. It is therefore subject to the Personalization and Data Association consent.

Within Microsoft Advertising, we also use the Microsoft Shopping Ads service. We use this search engine and price comparison platform from both parts of it: for free displays of our products in search results according to the degree of match with the search (Free Product Listings) and for paid advertising there (ads in Bing Shopping product search results). Personalization and Data Association consent will allow the inclusion of interactions with both free and paid product search results in the set of knowledge about the user for ad targeting and their linking with detailed data about the website visit and other interactions in the Microsoft advertising network.

Microsoft Advertising cookies are stored with a retention period of 13 months. Event and user data is also retained for 13 months after a user interaction.
