Sprocket Description
16B-2-SS Standard (Stainless Steel, 1” × 17 mm, DIN 8187) - 5 m Pack is a special type of duplex drive chain. It is standardized according to ISO 606 (DIN 8187), meaning it is a chain of the European B-series.
The chain consists of outer links with pins and inner links with bushes, on which freely rotating rollers are mounted. The chain is made of stainless steel.

Sprocket Fields of Use
16B-2 stainless steel roller chains according to DIN 8187 are intended for special applications in cases where a stainless steel design is required. They are used in food processing facilities, environments with increased humidity, wet conditions, with various chemicals, or when operating conditions do not allow the use of standard steel roller chains.
They are most commonly used as drive chains, but can also be fitted with carriers or other auxiliary elements for material handling and lifting applications.
