SR Idler Sprockets
SR (idler sprockets) are a special type of sprockets for roller chains according to DIN 8187.
They are made of a standard sprocket with a pressed single-row bearing. In the case of a chain drive, they are fastened with a screw or are part of universal lever tensioners, which can simultaneously perform the functions of suspension, guidance, tensioning and damping.

Idler Sprockets Fields of Use
SR (idler sprockets) are designed for tensioning of common industrial roller chains in all industries.
They are used in machines and equipment where chain tensioning and changing the direction of rotation is required, especially in conveyor equipment, in the food industry, in packaging machines and in many other devices.

When ordering a complete chain tensioner, always order the FE or RE tighteners element and the corresponding tension element. For chains it is ZK or OVR.
