PM Poly-V-Belt Pulleys
Poly-V-belt pulleys in PM profile are manufactured to order according to the drawing or specific requirements. They are made of steel, cast iron or other materials. Their design is based on the ISO 9982 (DIN 7867) standard.
The standard pulleys are mounted on shafts using the Taper Lock bushes or they are supplied as a semi-finished product and the bore must be modified before mounting the pulleys on the shafts.
Pulleys Fields of Use
The PM poly-V-belt pulleys are designed for all PM poly-V-belts with groove pitch of 9.4 mm.
They are typically used in compact compressor drives, blowers, machine tools, pumps, in the paper, chemical and automotive industries, garden technology and in many other machines.
Pulleys Material
According to the customer's request, but most often gray cast iron GG 20 – GG 25.
For speeds above 42 m/s, pulleys made of C45 steel, GGG 40 ductile iron or other higher quality material must be used.
