L Inch Sizes Taper Lock Timing Pulleys
Inch Sizes Standard timing pulleys in L profile are the basic type of pulleys for inch belts with trapezoidal L profile. They are made of steel or gray cast iron. Designed according to ISO 5294.
The pulleys are mounted on shafts using the Taper Lock bushes, thanks to which there is not only a fixing on the shaft with a keyway, but also an axial locking against displacement.

Pulleys Fields of Use
The L Taper timing pulleys are designed for all types of L belts with pitch 9.525 mm.
They are typically used in older machines with lower and medium performance, for example in packaging machines, in the ceramic, textile, food and tobacco industry and in many other machines. In new applications, they are often replaced by HTDHigh Torque Drive
Because of its tooth height and semi-circular tooth geometry, the HTD profile is especially good at avoiding jump-over of the teeth in operation. The HTD profile is extremely suitable for transmitting high torques., STDSuper Torque Drive
