PTFE Foil Description
Non-self-adhesive PTFE foils are made of glass fabric, which is coated with highly resistant PTFEPolytetrafluoroethylene, also known as Teflon, Hostaflon or Algoflon..
They are characterized by excellent temperature and chemical resistance and excellent sliding properties. They are also suitable for use in FDAFood and Drug Administration – the United States federal agency of the Department of Health and Human Services food contact. In addition, black foils have antistatic properties.
The foils are supplied in many thicknesses in basic rolls that are 1.0 m wide (up to 2.0 m for some types). They can be cut into tapes or specific shapes.

PTFE Foil Fields of Use
Non-self-adhesive PTFE foils are designed for use in all industries where non-stick properties, low coefficient of friction and at the same time high temperature and chemical resistance or health safety and food contact certificate are required.
They are used in the chemical, food, automotive industry, in stamping, welding, packaging machinery and in other equipment.
The use as a baking foil in bakeries or at home is also very well known and widespread.
PTFE foils can be joined into endless conveyor belts, which are used in many industries.
