Shaft Coupling Description

TNM E 265 Pb82 (82 Shore A, Cast Iron, Formerly NORMEX) is a set of parts for assembling the RINGFEDER TNM shaft coupling.

RINGFEDER TNM is torsionally flexible, puncture-proof shaft coupling. It transmits torque through pressure-stressed elastic buffers connected to each other in an intermediate ring, which absorbs shocks and torsional vibrations. This element is oil resistant and electrically conductive.

This TNM coupling is of series E. Each of the hubs therefore consists of only one part. When replacing a worn flexible element or disassembling and assembling, it is necessary to move the individual machine parts.

TNM coupling hubs are made of gray cast iron as unbored. They are therefore supplied as semi-finished products and the bore must be adjusted before mounting the coupling on the shafts.

TNM coupling can be used for both directions of rotation and each mounting position.

Formerly it was sold under the TSCHAN NORMEX designation.

  • Operating speed to nmax = 5000 1/min
